Talking Threads Pre-Order collection comprises classic fashion investments that stand the test of time. These are painstakingly hand embroidered by highly skilled artisans and take several months of detailed workmanship. A pre-order product offers enhanced customisation flexibility of fabric as well as the base colour. These enhanced flexibilities fine tune the product to your preferences to make it easier to invest in artisanal luxury.

A classic timeless heritage gara piece, this is a beige Parsi Gara hand embroidered pure chiffon overlay with crepe inner slip paired with beige chiffon dupatta and crepe lowers. The overlay has 1.75 inches wide floral parsi gara hand embroidered borders along the front open panel, neckline, side slits, hemline and sleeve ends. The parsi gara embroidery is also embellished with sequins. The parsi gara embroidery is in shades of maroon, wine, brown, grey, mauve and green. The overlay is sheer sleeved and is full front open with single loop button closure. The chiffon dupatta has 1.75 inches wide parsi gara hand embroidered pallav borders, embellished with sequins. The dupatta is finely finished with taffeta under borders and edges.

The lower can be styled as straight pants (as on model)/ cigar pants/churidar/ salwar/ palazzo. Straight pants fall straight after the knee. Cigar pants follow a leg tapering for a slimmer fit from knee to ankle.

The overlay is underlined with taffeta fabric with sleeves unlined and the inner sleeveless crepe slip is underlined with soft cotton. The lowers are underlined with soft cotton.

In standard size, the overlay jacket is 48 inches in length ( can be customised) with sleeve length of 22 inches ( can be customised). The side slits start 27 inches down from shoulder. In standard specs, our lowers are 40 inches in length and can be customised. We add 15 inches gathers for churidar in addition to the length you select in the option above.

Available as unstitched, semi-stitched or tailored to your size at no extra charge. Unstitched and Semi-stitched options are available in the size selector dropdown. For tailored ready to wear you can choose standard size using our size chart or take made-to-measure, where we tailor to your custom measurements taken over a web form post receiving your order. Incase you choose semi-stitched option in size selector, we send you semi-stitched free size top and unstitched lower fabric.

If you take custom colour, please email us the colour name on support@talkingthreads.in after placing your order. Please note that embroidery colours are pre-set and cannot be changed. If you would like us to tailor your garment to your custom body measurements, please select "Made-To-Measure" by selecting this option in the size selector. Post receiving your order, we will email you an online measurement form where you can submit your measurements and the garment will be tailored to your custom measurements. Please allow 1 to 2 business days for us to email you the online measurement form post receiving your order, as each form is customized for the garment you order.

Talking Threads garment crafting process involve significant artisanal contribution. The shipping timeline for every style code is mentioned next to the style code on this page. This is the time we take to finish and dispatch your garment from India. To estimate shipping timeline for your order, please note that Business Days are counted Monday to Friday ( excluding weekends and national holidays in India). If your order has more than one garment then the order is consolidated and shipped. We email you a tracking link for your order delivery on the day your package is dispatched. Delivery within India takes 2 to 4 business days from dispatch. International delivery takes 4 to 7 business days from dispatch.
