Laila Jewelfire is a gold bridal lehenga created equally for the sangeet and the reception. Ruby, emerald, sapphire and crystal stones ignite its molten-gold embroidery, while a sculpted jewelled blouse, radiant sunburst waist and sweeping shoulder cape create a silhouette designed for movement, light and unforgettable entrances.

The Story

I wanted to create a gold that did not feel monochrome, traditional or expected—and a bridal lehenga that did not belong to only one occasion.

Jewelfire catches light through flashes of ruby, emerald and sapphire, like precious stones suspended within molten gold. The embroidery begins in a jewelled burst at the waist and travels down the lehenga in luminous vertical rays, lengthening the silhouette and coming alive with every movement.

The sculpted blouse defines the form. The sheer, shoulder-attached capes trailaling the  arms, bringing drama to her entrance while leaving her free to dance, celebrate and inhabit the night.

This is Laila at her most opulent—and her most alive.
