Presenting Gayatri, our newest exploration in interplay of hand embroidered zardozi on woven Benares textiles. Our explorations in brocade and Benares weaves started in 2014 with my sister Gayatri's wedding. The elan with which she carried brocades is the very reason I got attracted to this textile. Since then, we have focused on bringing a contemporary language to the centuries old Benares textile, creating a fusion of our embroidered craftsmanship with this rich weave. Our Jewelled brocade collection of 2020 and Maharani's Muse in 2021 played with opulent "jewelling" of the rich brocade textile in contemporary lehengas, palazzos, jackets and capes. With Gayatri, our newest exploration, we continue the journey of incorporating embroidery-weave fusion into our signature silhouettes.

Emerald Green -gold Benares weave zardozi hand embroidered lehenga paired with tunic and dupatta. Zari and cut beads sequin hand embroidery adorns the dupatta and tunic. The embroidery on the tunic decorates the sweetheart neckline, sleeve ends and front-back hem. The panelled ( kali) lehenga features a fitted waist and concealed zipper at side hem. The dupatta features zari and cut beads sequin hand embroidery borders all around with sequins all over, making it the perfect outfit for the upcoming festivities, wedding celebrations and special occasions.
